Getting Help

The decision to seek counseling is extremely important.  Each counselor offers different specialties and approaches which brings certain uniqueness to the therapeutic relationship.  Select a counselor that works in the area of your specific need(s), i.e., marriage and family, depression, anxiety or addiction.  Keep in mind you might begin therapy thinking the symptoms are the biggest issue until the therapist discovers the root.  Be honest with your therapist, because they are only able to assist you with the level of trust that you express. Therapy is a financial investment in yourself and your relationship circle; working the process will yield the best results.
